Dr. Jens Hühn holds a PhD in machine learning and founded Huehn Solutions GmbH. With more than 15 years in management consulting, he builds software such as SlideFab that automates reporting routines between Excel and PowerPoint.
Selected milestones:
- 1997 — first software applications with Turbo Pascal and Delphi
- 2000 — web applications with SQL database backends
- 2006 — MSc-equivalent in Computer Science
- 2009 — PhD in Machine Learning
- 2011 — professional use of Excel, VBA and PowerPoint at Kearney
- 2016 — founded SlideFab (Huehn Solutions GmbH)

Why SlideFab exists
SlideFab was born from a project that required updating 20 scenario-based PowerPoint slides every time new data landed in Excel. Copy-paste and macros were error-prone and hard to maintain.
That is why SlideFab exists: link Excel models to PowerPoint templates and produce individual decks — locally, no cloud, no coding. Anyone with basic Excel skills can set up the automation.
