How to enable the SlideFab PowerPoint Add-In

The following manual is supposed to help in the following case: SlideFab was installed but it does not show up in the PowerPoint ribbon. The simple reason can be that the SlideFab PowerPoint Add-In is not enabled.

In case SlideFab does not appear in the list of Add-Ins as shown in step 3 below, then the installation went wrong. In this case it makes sense to re-install SlideFab again and following the instructions. And if this does not work out, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us to get support.

Enabling the PowerPoint Add-In SlideFab

  1. In the PowerPoint ribbon click “File” and then open up the Options window. The button is located at the bottom left.

  2. In the Options Window (1) click “Add-Ins” which is the second last entry in the vertical menu. Then (2) click “Go…” while “Com Add-ins” is selected. This opens up the Add-Ins control window.

  3. Within the Add-Ins window make sure that the checkbox for SlideFab is set. If it is not the case, tick the box and close window by clicking “OK”.

Ideally SlideFab loads immediately. Potentially, restarting PowerPoint can help.
